Miles of smiles and learning to roll over
Audrey has been practicing how to roll over. Its really limited because she gets so mad on her tummy time. She only lasts 5 minutes before emotional meltdown begins. Audrey smiles a lot now, generally not while I’m holding the camera because Audrey is very suspicious of the camera. She has been working on rolling over while laying on her back; she can manage to roll to one side, but thats has far as she can get from her back.

Got a new camera
Well, we finally picked up a new camera. So you all can see how big shes gotten. We haven’t been to the doctors lately so there is no offical weight.
Elizabeth is back to work. She has started her new Job at Seattle Central Community College’s nursing program. So far she is having fun adjusting to a new working environment. There are a lot of things different to working in a classroom as compared to working clinically.
Now that Elizabeth has started working, we have started using a daycare for Audrey. We found an in-home daycare that both Elizabeth and I are comfortable with. So I take Audrey in at 11:30 before I got to work and Elizabeth picks her up at about 5 or so. And only four days a week, so she really doesn’t have to be in daycare for that long.
The summer is now over and I’m still trying to get used to my new job; even after six months. Not that this has been the best year to start my job. The hospital expanded and just about everything that could’ve gone right didn’t.
Anyways, since I’ve gotten a new camera I’ll be posting pictures more regular like.
I lost the camera!
Yes, I know it has been a long time since I’ve posted anything. One of the main reasons has been that we’ve misplaced our camera and thus, have had no pictures to post. This of course has greatly distressed Grandma Hinkson and many others. They are being robbed a steady diet of Audrey pictures. We would’ve rushed to Best Buy (any excuse to go to an eltronics store) however, the hospital bills have started coming in making it difficult to replace the camera right away.
Audrey is up to 9 lbs 11 oz and she is now 23 1/4 inches long. The pediatrian says she is on the bottom percentile for length, but has not quite made it there for wieght. But she is not far behind. Elizabeth and I often forget how small Audrey is until we she her next to another baby for comparision. Then we are like “Oh yeah, shes a tiny baby”. Audrey is becoming more alert, morning times are her most “agreeable” when she smiles and can get excited interacting with us. However as the day goes…. crankiness commences. She is also doing pretty good on sleeping through the night. Though it is not consistent, she will sometimes sleep 8 hours at night.
Elizabeth will begin working towards the later half of this month. I’m really glad as I think she is starting to get cabin fever. I would be able to relax at home, but she keeps sharpening the kitchen knives while staring at me (just kidding, that is a joke and not to be taken seriously) Elizabeth did discover facebook and has been on there a lot making friends.
How did I lose the camera? Well, some friends of Elizabeth’s came to visit us and we decided to take them to downtown Seattle. Or to be more explicit, we took them to the Top Pot doughnut shop, which is reported to one of the best in the country. Anyways, somewhere along the trip the camera got lost. I will hopefully get it replaced sometime in the next week and I will be able to post more often agian
